KERALA HIGH COURT SERVICE RULES, 2007 – AMENDMENT

In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 229 of the Constitution of India, the Honourable the Acting Chief Justice hereby makes the following amendments to the Kerala High Court Service Rules, 2007 namely:

Amendment (C.S. No.48)

“In the said rules

 

The following shall be inserted after the second proviso to sub-rule (1) of Rule 7.

“Provided further that a Judge may, in lieu of one Office Attendant as prescribed by the 2nd proviso, engage a co-terminus Sevak, who shall work with the Judge at his pleasure, who service conditions shall be such as may be prescribed by the Chief Justice from time to time. However the above option can be exercised only by those Judges who have not made nomination as per the 2nd proviso, as it stood before its substitution.’’

 

The above amendments shall come into force with immediate effect”.
